We recently had the pleasure of working with Brickwood Homes for extensive renovations to our kitchen, bathroom, laundry, dining, and family room, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results!

We can't speak highly enough of all the tradespeople who came to our house - demolition, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, tiling, rendering, flooring, painting, kitchen installation through to final clean – every single person was friendly, polite, professional and highly skilled at their trade.
Renovating an older house is never without its challenges, but these were met with a positive attitude and great skill. The site was kept tidy with materials removed regularly which meant minimal disruption to our daily lives.
We can't speak highly enough of our amazing supervisor, Jack. He was hands-on every step of the way and kept us well informed with regular updates, photos and recommendations. His flexibility, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail were outstanding, making what could have been a stressful experience remarkably smooth.
We are loving our newly renovated spaces and friends and family are so impressed.

The boys was so quick they finished my granny in term of 3 months the job had very minor repairs at the end and they very quickly act and fixed im very happy with brickwood homes

We contacted this company in regards to an extension for our home. Jack, the builder, went above and beyond to make the process as stress-free as possible. Brickwood was by far the best quote we got and finished within the deadline. The builder was unreal to work with everything he said was on time and done perfect made sure the site was safe and spotless. all the workers where very respectful and done there job to perfection. Heartful thanks to Ray for building a beautiful granny flat with in less than 80 days. Highly recommend to all fellow aussies to appoint Ray as your project manager and be prepared to run at his pace. A quality outcome at good pace is acheivable with Birckwood and Ray as a lead.
>Points to note: Planning and designing stage felt pushy, please take your time and tell the planner not push you. Do not sign the plans right away or even next day, take your time show it your friends or families or collegues who recently built the house. They may pick some errors and faults in the design which are missed by planner. My designer, designed the granny with out the second door, after showed him the plan we ended up designing the bathroom with no window, realised this during consturction. Having the bathroom window for a granny is ideal, during warm showers in winter.... No lights have been planned in passage, we found them during the consturctions stage and taken to supervisors attention. Not enough lights planned along the out side perimeter, I will be hiring another electrician tomorrow to take some down lights the side of the granny,

Personally, I am not planner or engineer, i expect my planner do this job for me as I am paying bloody $$$$ for him. Again this is my experiecne that come with a cost, Any paper work you sign take time read carefully, understand carefully and then sign. With my knowledge all Tc&Cs in house or granny consturction have been designed in favour to builder only, except one or two out of list of 70 or more.

I highly reocmmend Brickwood homes and choose Project manager Ray Sabongi, the Man of ideas, never give up or comprising about the quliaty at every stage of consturction, but avoid planner Elie.

honestly, I was not happy with Sales person but project builder Ray is amazing. He knows what is his job and what is right or wrong. Very quick and responsible. Next time I will make deal again, sales and build together with him. He is right person for this company make company greater.

After a very bad experience with another granny flat building company, I met Albert from Brickwood home. Albert and his team are very professional. He did exactly what he has promised from the beginning. I definitely recommend them.

Brickwood Homes constructed a granny flat behind our home and Ray Sabongi was the site Manager. There was never a hard ask for Ray. He listens and responds to requests. He also explains if our requests are not recommended or provides a better option. Overall, we thought Brickwood did a great job. The quality and finishes were as discussed in the contract. The contractors/workers were professional and respectful. Office support from Rick and Shelley at the front-end and Geoff from the office also deserves a mention here.

In addition Brickwood did additional renovations on our pool, backyard and surrounds. Jack Issa was the best! Never a hard task and always there when you need him. Our backyard was a jungle and pool was not usable (as it was dated) before Brickwood proposed renovations to be done. So much needed to be done by different contractors and the weather was not always on our side. Jack managed the schedule pretty well. Again all the contractors were professional. Albert Chahda also monitored the renovations and granny flat construction.

Overall, we thought Brickwood did a great job and finished the work on time for our mum to move in. We are so happy that we went with Brickwood.

We've had good experience through the whole process from sales, quotation, design and construction. Construction process is well managed, our project completed on schedule despite some early unexpected difficulties. Most of the crews are also very professional and a pleasure to deal with.

Ray Sabongi, the site manager, is very professional and always provide good options and valuable recommendations. Some of the additional services like landscaping are not the cheapest but well valued with good workmanship and coordination with other teams.

With the experience so far, I definitely recommend Brickwood and Ray for any granny flat projects.

Just finished building a granny flat with Brickwood Homes. I was extremely satisfied with the high level of service provided from start to finish. Rick, Shelly and Ray were professional and pleasure to work with. Any queries or concerns I had they were addressed and resolved promptly to satisfaction. Ray the supervisor was a man of action and got the build moving quickly. Unfortunately, we had a lot of rain which slowed down constructions for a period of time.

BRICKWOOD Homes Jack & Albert were very responsive & exemplified professionalism towards our vision in a complete renovation to a 5bedroom double storey home. Result has left us with an amazing home that ticks all our boxes. So much so that we originally build this house in 1999 & raised our family, now after our renovation as well as being empty nesters, we feel like we are at a different address.

Would like to express our thanks to Rick , Ray and Shelly. They helped us build our granny flat. They finished the build as per planned and within the time frame. Would definitely recommend them. Very professional ..

Avoid avoid avoid.... Dodgy salespeople and unprofessional contractual practices. Their salesperson Alex Xu visited and promised to match a competitor quote on exact same scope and requirements. Three weeks, a few visits by them and to their display at an hour's drive and, a confusing proposal (with three different prices) and a fuzzy tender (that they termed as a contract) later, the price was increased thrice, once by 5K, then by 2K and then again by 8K (emai and text msg proof available if anyone is interested... simply reach out). They try to sell their faster construction times but they are no different to anyone else in time to completion or price. Go to a recognized builder and avoid wasting time on these so called builders!
